UWA Curriculum Mapper for Accreditation Planning

Accreditation is awarded to a university program of study after a rigorous evaluation of their capacity to produce graduates who have the knowledge and skills required of an ICT professional. Professional accreditation of university programs is an important and complex task, in which program organisation, unit and program outcomes, and professional competencies need to be documented and explorable. This project is to provide visualisation dashboards for curriculum mapping tasks in Australian Computer Society (ACS) Accreditation.

The UWA Curriculum Mapper software will:

  1. Import course information from CAIDi for a given course into a graph database
  2. Provide interactive visualisations of the program for specific accreditation criteria (e.g. program outcomes, ACS CBOK, SFIA) enabling the user to zoom in and out and to call up specific details of the mappings
  3. Export the mappings in several formats, such as printable documentation for accreditation, graphics, or spreadsheets.
