MCEP Placement Activity Logs

Project to streamline the Master's of Clinical Exercise Physiology's (MCEP) placement monitoring, KPIS and reviews. Currently this process is complete using both qualtrics and Microsoft Excel. We are looking to expand and develop this process to a more advance, user friendly way (e.g. App or alternative software).

  1. New interactive system (either app or webpage based)
  2. System to be linked with UWA school PHEME for students
    1. System profile to then link with all student records and information (e.g. DOB, student number, contact details)
    2. Option to have non-UWA accounts for location hosts
  3. System needs to have the availability for students to record the below for each day:
    1. Placement Location
    2. Number activities completed
    3. Minutes spent on the activity
    4. Pathology of client/group
    5. Domain of activity (e.g. planning, delivery or assessments)
  4. Daily logs can also link to other non-uwa accounts
    1. E.g. the student "tags" their supervisor within the log
    2. This will then generate the same report but specific for the supervisor
    3. E.g. this many students complete XXXX may hours with you across XXXX domains.
  5. After entry a report should then appear
    1. Summary of ALL activity logs with breakdowns of the above information
    2. E.g. pie graph showing which pathologies they have completed, total time spent on placement
  6. An user can be able to login in at any time and review a real-time updated report
