Purchase order tracking system
We're expanding a web application for project management in small businesses. There is basic functionality for tracking which clients have placed orders, but it needs to be upgraded.
The goals of this project:
- Track purchase orders for specific deliverable items.
- Latitude to attach purchase orders to items of any scale: From a theme park (project) to drafting a document (deliverable), to fuel costs (expense).
- Develop a web page to graphically display full financial diagnostics
- Overlay spending, invoice, and payment history for multiple purchase orders, projects, and clients.
- Keeping design open to incorporate task completion as a variable.
- Tracking milestone and deliverable completion and confirmation.
- Whether a deliverable is currently with the worker, sent to the supervisor for review, with the client for approval, or approved.
- Revisions required, and who requested the changes.
The core of the project will be HTML/JS/PHP. There will be some minor restrictions on transmission format due to the application's operating environment.
