Extracting insights from employment data

A pilot program is looking at building career and employment advice software that combines insights from employment advertisements and skills descriptions from education providers. An initial part of this program is understanding a large corpus of curated employment data.

This project would build an application to visualise and understand the corpus using graph databases, knowledge graphs or related technologies. The application should allow users to - query the data, and visualise the results of queries - apply basic text mining techniques to identify trends and patterns in the data. - prototype knowledge extraction algorithms and distance metrics over the data set.
