A Learning Tool for Understanding Cancer Invasion and Metastasis
Cancer is a complex disease that many of us fear and don't really understand. Due to this complexity, many students struggle with the depth of learning required. We have recently developed a virtual reality (VR) learning activity that explores the development cancerous cells after exposure to certain carcinogens (e.g. UV rays in sunlight). This has been primarily developed for the HTC Vive virtual reality platform. This computer science project is to develop a 2D `mobile' version of the VR experience for at-home student learning.
