LIFE SAVER
Mobile App To develop a mobile application targeting individuals suffering mention
health stress to locate the nearest mental health professional to contact.
The app minimum viable product can be developed for either iOS, Android or
web (our suggestion would be native iOS or Android) and wouldn't require any
logging of personal information (i.e. no on boarding)
The user would open the app and it would update its list from a server,
sorted by those closest to the user.
The user could then click on one of the results to see further information
like telephone number, address and opening hours.
Clicking on the telephone number would call the mental health professional.
Website There would be developed a very simple front end website for
an administration person to add new mental health professionals. This could be programmed in PHP.
Database A simple database containing all the health professional content entered from the website.
Web services A very simple web service (REST or JSON) that communicates with the mobile app, sending it a list of health professionals. Each entry in the database could be time stamped and if there are any new entries it would be easy for the app to only retrieve those.
