Parent Support IOS App
A mobile device iOS app proposal for parents to help support and provide information on
current trending apps around image sharing or any other popular trending gaming apps.
For example, the parent would be prompted to select "son/daughter" and "age"
and this will produce a list of apps categorised by how risky is it e.g.
"Risky" "Moderate" "Safe" as well as list the type of
app e.g. "Gaming" (like Pokemon Go, Minecraft) or "Image Sharing" (like
Instagram, Snapchat) or "Chat" (like Whatsapp, Kik) etc.
The parent/user is able to click onto the results and read about the app, its purpose
and how it may be potentially risky for a young user.
Advice is also given on how to address these issues with their son/daughter.
A second feature of the app would be an online community/chat thread. That will allow parents to chat to one another, or even ask Admin about specific apps that may not be featured. It will also act as a support group for parents to communicate with one another.
